Maestro is one of our “miracle cases”. From the time he came into his owner's life, he was difficult to care for.

This dog has always had trouble with eating. He was extremely finicky, as finicky as they come, and his owner spent hours preparing satin balls to put even a little weight onto him. He would eat one food for a few days or weeks and then refuse to touch it. He had been switched to a variety of dry kibbles for awhile, however, he seemed to hate all kibble. He was then on a pre-made raw diet formula for awhile, usually with hamburger, with special oils.

Health: His breath was atrocious and smelled like he ate something dead which was rotting inside of him. He had poor quality teeth and gums even with constant care, and sometimes he was rather lethargic. The Veterinarians could not find anything wrong with him. He was an extremely hard keeper.

Less then two months after starting Vetraceuticals, Maestro is bouncing off walls like the papillon the owner always wanted. His eyes are bright and clear, and he is now allowed to sleep on her bed since his breath no longer makes her ill.

Since Maestro has been on Vetraceuticals he is asking for his food and will sometimes even work for his California Natural kibble! It is no longer necessary to make satin balls to retain his weight.
